Things Folks Typically Ask Us

1. Do I need to organize my files before I send them?

Nope. That's the whole point. Folders, screenshots, half-finished spreadsheets, notes in your phone, that thing you started in 2022 and abandoned — send it exactly as-is. Sorting it out is our job, not yours.

2. What file formats do you accept?

Basically anything. Photos, CSVs, Google Docs, screenshots, PDFs, handwritten notes you took a picture of. If it exists in some form, we can work with it.

3. Do you need access to my Shopify store?

Only if you're on a package that includes us uploading and QA-ing everything directly in your store. Lower tiers (like the Mini Mess Audit) don't require store access at all since we're just cleaning up and organizing what you send. If your package includes upload + QA, we'll walk you through exactly how to grant collaborator access, and you can revoke it any time once the work's done.

4. How long does this take?

Depends on the size of your catalog and which tier you're in. A Mini Mess Audit turns around fast. A Full Catalog Build takes longer since it's a bigger lift. You'll get a timeline estimate before anything starts.

5. Will it sound like my brand, or like a robot wrote it?

Like your brand. We're not running your product descriptions through a generic AI prompt and calling it done. If you've got brand voice guidelines, style examples, or even just "here's how I'd describe this to a friend," send that over and it shapes everything we write.

6. What if I only have a handful of products?

Totally fine. The Mini Mess Audit is built for smaller catalogs or for people who just want a diagnostic before committing to a bigger build.

7. What's included versus what's an add-on?

Each tier has a defined scope listed on the pricing page. Add-ons cover things like Catalog Care (ongoing updates after launch) and deeper image organization. If you're not sure what you need, the intake form helps sort that out, or just ask.

8. Is Send The Mess only for Shopify stores?

Yes, Shopify only right now. If you're on Etsy, WooCommerce, or somewhere else, we're not the right fit today.

9. What happens after I fill out the intake form?

We review it, email you back, you send over your files, we build a quote based on what you actually need, you approve it, then work begins.

10. What if I'm not sure this is the right fit for me?

Fill out the intake form anyway. Worst case, we tell you honestly if we're not it, and point you somewhere better. No pressure, no hard sell.
